The Personal Care/Home Health Aide program prepares students to help individuals who are disabled, chronically ill, cognitively impaired, and older adults and others who may need home assistance. The PCA/HHA assists with activities such as bathing and dressing and provides services such as light housekeeping and taking vital signs.

Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion. They will have the skills and credentials to provide personal care services to Medicaid waiver recipients as well as others.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • 18 years or older
  • PPD test
  • CPR certification
  • TB/PPD and CPR included in tuition
